Evaluation of the Western Australia Country Health Service’s Anti-Microbial Stewardship decision support tool

Opportunity: In 2023 the Western Australia Country Health Service (WACHS) implemented the WA Antimicrobial Stewardship digital decision support tool known as Antimicrobial Pathways (AMPs) to support improved antimicrobial prescribing across regional and remote healthcare settings. The project set out to provide evidence on the impact of AMPs on improving prescribing quality, adherence to antimicrobial guidelines and strengthening antimicrobial stewardship practices across the health system.

Determining consumer preferences and experiences regarding telehealth and embedding the consumer into reimagining healthcare in Australia

Opportunity: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of telehealth across Australia, but little was known about how consumers experienced and valued virtual care. This project addressed a significant evidence gap by examining consumer preferences, experiences and expectations regarding telehealth and its future role within Australia's healthcare system.
