Internship project: Investigating practices from other foreign jurisdictions in place to support consumers and clinicians to better access and use telehealth, and whether these should be considered in the Australian context?

In this internship an environmental scan will be conducted to identify practices to support consumers and clinicians access to telehealth internationally. Interviews will be held with health consumer representative groups in the UK, Canada and Germany.

This internship aims to answer the following research questions:

• What are some practices from other foreign jurisdictions in place to support consumers and clinicians to better access and use telehealth, and can these be translated to the Australian context?
• What are some examples of where Australia is leading the world in use and access of telehealth?
