Internship project: Experiences of health professionals delivering technology enabled care models

Opportunity

The project will describe the experiences of medical, nursing and allied health professionals delivering health care virtually. This will be done by interviewing health professionals within the Virtual Hospital about their experiences delivering care using digital technology. The interviews will also seek to understand some of the barriers and enablers of delivering care virtually for different health professional groups and/or in different care areas. During the project the intern will have an opportunity to learn how to develop research interview questions, conduct interviews, and get an introduction to analysing interview data.

Project Objective

• Explore health professionals’ experiences of delivering services within a Virtual Hospital
• Understand the barriers and enablers to delivering care within a Virtual Hospital setting
• Identify opportunities to support health professionals in delivering high-quality Virtual Hospital services
