Opportunity
This project is an opportunity to resolve the challenges that inhibit data standardisation and sharing in Australian residential aged care (and across the health care sector). It aims to transform the current approach to the reporting of mandatory quality indicators (Qis) and improve the way that data is used within the system.
Project objective
This project will implement and evaluate the data standards, interoperability solutions, and quality of care benchmarking capability designed and constructed in Phases 1-2 of the Aged Care Data Compare (ACDC) project (DHCRC-0078, concluded in June 2022). It will build and road-test an app, infrastructure and protocols in partnership with Regis Aged Care to improve the way that data is used within Australian residential aged care system.
