One of the goals of health care is to uncover ways to improve the safety and quality of care, while ensuring that individuals and communities are treated with respect and dignity regardless of who they are or where they come from. Ensuring that a diverse range of perspectives and voices are represented in health information and data is essential for promoting this kind of meaningful health care.

This video explores the role of patient-reported data in closing the gaps in data and knowledge about patients’ experiences and outcomes with the health systems they engage in.
